Feelin' Groovy starring Jim Witter
featuring the music of Simon and Garfunkel

Presented by the Tidemark Theatre
Jim Witter                Sponsored By

After wowing the Tidemark audiences for the past two seasons with his "The Piano Men" and "The Long and Winding Road" concerts, Jim Witter returns by popular demand, with a brand new show featuring the music of Simon and Garfunkel.

Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel formed the group "Tom and Jerry" in 1957, and had their first taste of success with the minor hit "Hey, Schoolgirl". As Simon and Garfunkel, the duo rose to fame in 1965, backed by the hit single "The Sound of Silence". They are well known for their close vocal harmonies and sometimes unstable relationship. They were among the most popular recording artists of the 1960s; among their biggest hits, in addition to "The Sound of Silence", were "I Am a Rock", "Homeward Bound", "A Hazy Shade of Winter", "Mrs. Robinson", "Bridge over Troubled Water", "The Boxer", "Cecilia", and "Scarborough Fair".

Whether it is his country music, the music of Billy Joel and Elton John, the Beatles, or Simon and Garfunkel's famous hits, Jim's versatility as an artist has allowed him the opportunity to reach out and share his music and his infectious personality with audiences of all ages across Canada and the United States. His unique approach and comfortable rapport makes each member of his audience feel as though they are a part of a private concert in the comfort of their own living room. His golden tenor at the grand piano will lead you effortlessly back to the '60s.
