The Legendary - Ian Tyson
Presented by the Tidemark Theatre SOLD OUT
From a rodeo-riding youth to a broken-hearted gentleman and a prairie poet, Ian Tyson is a cowboy historian, and a northern-sky storyteller. He's a romantic and a realist, a rancher and a true singing cowboy, he's the one Gene Autry only wished he could have been. Tyson's songs are strewn with story, lore, and legends.
Ian Tyson is one of a kind ... authentic and durable. In the tough world of show business where an artist can consider himself lucky to have one hit and a few good years, Ian Tyson has had two distinctly brilliant careers. Spanning three decades, Tyson has forged a trail of musical innovation. Starting with the legendary folk duo of Ian and Sylvia in the 60's, the trail has culminated with the seminal Cowboyography collection reaching platinum status in the mid 90's.

The Arrogant Worms
Presented by the Tidemark Theatre
It began as a hobby, making fun of a big dumb world. Luckily, the world is still dumb and The Arrogant Worms (Mike McCormick, Chris Patterson and Trevor Strong) still have plenty to sing about.
The shows are fast, furious and family friendly. The wit is quick, the satire is biting and the musicianship is second to none. Their appeal has earned them fans from kids to parents to grandparents to Princess Leia.
The Arrogant Worms have sold more than 150,000 copies of their 12 albums and played on three continents to crowds as large as 100,000. They were recognized in 2003 as the Touring Act of the Year by the Canadian Arts Presenters Association.

Feelin' Groovy starring Jim Witter
featuring the music of Simon and Garfunkel
Presented by the Tidemark Theatre
Sponsored By

After wowing the Tidemark audiences for the past two seasons with his "The Piano Men" and "The Long and Winding Road" concerts, Jim Witter returns by popular demand, with a brand new show featuring the music of Simon and Garfunkel.
Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel formed the group "Tom and Jerry" in 1957, and had their first taste of success with the minor hit "Hey, Schoolgirl". As Simon and Garfunkel, the duo rose to fame in 1965, backed by the hit single "The Sound of Silence". They are well known for their close vocal harmonies and sometimes unstable relationship. They were among the most popular recording artists of the 1960s; among their biggest hits, in addition to "The Sound of Silence", were "I Am a Rock", "Homeward Bound", "A Hazy Shade of Winter", "Mrs. Robinson", "Bridge over Troubled Water", "The Boxer", "Cecilia", and "Scarborough Fair".
Whether it is his country music, the music of Billy Joel and Elton John, the Beatles, or Simon and Garfunkel's famous hits, Jim's versatility as an artist has allowed him the opportunity to reach out and share his music and his infectious personality with audiences of all ages across Canada and the United States. His unique approach and comfortable rapport makes each member of his audience feel as though they are a part of a private concert in the comfort of their own living room. His golden tenor at the grand piano will lead you effortlessly back to the '60s.

Double Headliners - Matt Andersen and Wil
Presented by the Tidemark Theatre
New Brunswick's Matt Andersen has a larger than life showmanship. His sprawling blues, roots and rock musical hybrid with his sorrowing and soulful voice has sparked a phenomenal buzz across Canada. Matt performed at the Vancouver Island Music Festival in 2008 and was so well received that the crowd refused to let him stop at the end.
Due to very tight scheduling, encores are not allowed at this festival, so they had to call it something else when they decided it was faster to let him play another song than deal with the crowd. In half a song the entire audience was moved from cheering to tears and back again.
Wil's working-class upbringing conditioned him to view making music as a respectable profession little different from, say, fixing cars like his father. A non-stop touring musician, his expansive roots-rock sound and world-weary lyricism have built a dedicated following for his famously intense live shows. Wil channels so much energy through his guitar that he almost always breaks a string or two, so much so that he has written songs for those missing strings.
